For over 40 years Dr. James M. Hurst has been providing cutting edge state of the art care to his patients. Not only does he integrate the latest technology into his diagnostic testing and assessments, he also provides one on one care and attention patients covet. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech (1981) and the Temple School of Podiatric Medicine (1985) and has been board certified by American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery since 1993 in Reconstructive Foot & Ankle Surgery and recently recertified in 2023. 

He is has been on the active medical staff at INOVA Fair Oaks Hospital since 1991, and the Northern Virginia Surgical Center since 2010. He is also active in training podiatric residents at the INOVA Northern VA Podiatric Residency program. Dr. Hurst has been married 42 years and has 4 children and 5 grandchildren.
