Dr. Hurst took me in for a broken ankle within hours of my call; with robotic laser treatment it healed two weeks earlier than expected; and everyone in the office is delightful.

My wife Mihye had bunion surgery with Dr. Hurst on 28 December and was walking again within a week! Three months later she has resumed normal activities, including daily runs on the treadmill. We couldn't be more pleased with the medical outcome, with Dr. Hurst's professionalism and obvious surgical skill, and with the courtesy and professionalism of his staff, Denise and Rebecca. We would highly recommend Dr. Hurst to anyone with foot troubles and indeed already have.

First and foremost. Thank Dr. Hurst! But anyways, here's my story. After fracturing my foot almost half a decade ago. I developed this sharp pain in the ball of my foot/in the middle of my toes when I would just walk, run or dance and of course I did a countless amount of treatments, from physical therapy, to dry needling to even just resting but I kid you not, NOTHING worked. And keep in mind I used to bartend full-time (which meant standing all day), I used to workout daily (with a high focus on legs like squatting), I used to dance daily before my surgery and this pain (the dance I do involves a tremendous amount of footwork and I push through my toes quite often and even stand on my toes alot; it's not ballet but I use many techniques from that dance so I can position myself on my toes), oh and my job was in DC which meant I had to walk ALOT and in other words. I'M ALWAYS ON MY FEET. But with the lack of progression I just accepted that I was going to have this sharp pain in my foot for the rest of my life. So I would literally just walk, stand, workout and dance with this pain and got used to it. But then fast forward almost 4-5 years later and I decided to get my foot properly assessed by a specialist and Dr. Hurst immediately identified I had Morton's Neuroma and he very calmly told me the solution to my problem and so he gave me a couple of options but I decided to get some injections on my foot just because that seemed to be the fastest solution to healing my foot. And after receiving my first injection. I kid you not. The large amount of pain I was used to had finally subsided only after a week and I was speechless and just felt incredibly grateful because I could push through the ball of my foot with minimal pain. Now I wasn't 100% after the first injection but after the 2nd one. I was at about 90% and so I received a 3rd injection and each injection costed roughly $60 and this was WITHOUT insurance. And shieeettt... Had I known this injection was an option I would've done this almost half a decade ago... But overall, just feeling grateful and I wanted to just thank Dr. Hurst for his patience and fast treatment. Being able to enjoy a simple activity like walk feels unreal because I haven't been able to do that in half a decade. I feel like I wasted half of my 20's because I was never able to fully enjoy dancing, hiking yet alone walking but now I can go into my 30's with some fresh feet. Words cannot describe how thankful I am so thank you again Dr. Hurst. (And if you are hesitant on if you should get an injection on your feet don't worry it's fairly painless. Dr. Hurst will numb your foot first.)
